New Playground Provides Accessible, Inclusive Water Play for Kids of All Physical Ability Levels
Accessible, inclusive water play for children of all ages and physical abilities is the idea behind the new interactive water features now in splashing action at Tilles Park in Ladue. The water features were built as part of the new St. Louis Children's Hospital All-Inclusive Playground by St. Louis-based fountain consulting firm Hydro Dramatics, in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital, the St. Louis County Parks Department and SWT Design. Hydro Dramatics Completes New Water Features at World-Renowned Garden
Hydro Dramatics, the St. Louis-based fountain consulting firm, recently completed several new fountains and water features in three of the Missouri Botanical Garden's newest gardens: the Doris I. Schnuck Children's Garden: A Missouri Adventure, the George Washington Carver Garden and the Ottoman Garden. Colorado Couple's Dream Becomes Reality in Unique Uncle Wilber Fountain
When philanthropists Bob and Kat Tudor decided to donate a fountain to the children of Colorado Springs, they knew just what they wanted: an animated fountain with ever-changing water patterns as a backdrop for whimsical sculptures. What they didn't expect was the discouraging reception they received when they approached several of the country's biggest fountain companies. Time and again, the Tudors were advised to alter or simplify their design ideas and give up the fountain concept they envisioned.
