My Big Backyard

Hydro Dramatics has completed a variety of engaging water features geared to children of all ages at “My Big Backyard,” a children’s garden located within the Memphis Botanic Garden in Memphis, Tenn. Terra Design Studios of Pittsburgh, Pa., designed the 2.5-acre garden, which blends beauty, educational fun and cooling adventure.

One of the most popular destinations in “My Big Backyard” is “Rain Drop Stop,” which showers visitors with an unexpected rainstorm and sounds of thunder inviting spontaneous fun. Also featured are “Critter Creek” and “The Pond Out Back,” water features that promote hands-on exploration and provide opportunities for kids to wade, play and observe a variety of small creatures in a natural habitat setting.
